Dr. Kimberly Phipps has practiced comprehensive optometry since 1998, and joined Michigan Eye Institute in 2004. She has a special interest in fitting contact lenses, including contact lenses for astigmatism and multifocal contact lenses. She also enjoys working with children as patients.

Dr. Kimberly Phipps graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Biomedical Science from Western Michigan University. She then graduated with High Honors from The Ohio State University College of Optometry. She received extensive contact lens training under a nationally recognized contact lens expert, Dr. Joseph Barr. Dr. Kimberly Phipps received ocular disease training at the Veteran's Administration Outpatient Clinic in Columbus, Ohio. She is currently a member of the American Optometric Association and Michigan Optometric Association.
