Dr. Gary M. Keoleian specializes in vision correcting, refractive cataract surgery and glaucoma. Dr. Keoleian graduated with highest distinction from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor with a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology & Zoology. He received the William J. Branstrom Freshman Prize and is a James B. Angell Scholar. Also, his academic performance merited election as Phi Beta Kappa in his junior year.
Dr. Keoleian received his Medical degree from the University of Michigan. He completed his residency in ophthalmology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and served as Chief Resident. He went on to a prestigious glaucoma fellowship at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute at the University of Miami Medical School.
Dr. Keoleian is Board-certified as a lifetime diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology and is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. He is actively involved with patient care, resident education and clinical research. He has done numerous presentations and publications in ophthalmology.
